I think it’s worth pointing out at this juncture that there are those in Real America for whom Target is still hated as an elitist enclave for its French pronounciation.
I have been informed with complete sincerity within the last five years that Target is a French company because the company’s name is pronounced Tar-ZHAY. Buy American.
