Some questions for authenticity fans

ley-lines:

If I played you a song you had never heard before by someone you’d never heard of, do you think you could tell whether the performer had written the song? Have you ever been to a classical music performance? If so, did you sit there rolling your eyes the whole time because none of the musicians had written a note of what they played? Do you watch films and feel scornful that the actors didn’t write their own lines?
