P!nk, “Try” (2012)

This was a surprising and kind of an upsetting video — I don’t know that I’ve seen a video so influenced by contemporary dance since Shakira’s “Did It Again” (or maybe even Kate Bush’s “Running Up that Hill”), but the themes of sexualized violence are, as they tend to be with P!nk, right up front. And as also tends to be with P!nk, she dishes out as much as she takes.
