Q:Was wondering if you had any love for Stax or specific artists who frequented that label? Any favorite songs to come out of their library?

I’ve got two ears and a heart, don’t I?

William Bell’s “You Don’t Miss Your Water” is probably my favorite Stax song, though the label’s entire roster throughout the 60s is transcendent at best (Sam & Dave) and solid at worst (Rufus Thomas).
