If you’ve drifted away from the Singles Jukebox because “they never post anything anymore” — circumstances, man — there’s a bunch of year-end catching-up there now. This one wasn’t my nomination (it was, for number-gaming reasons, Dave’s), but it gives me an opportunity to make my final update to my running-tally-of-places-I’ve-talked-about-Ke$ha post.

My nomination was “Armada Latina,” the one song I’ve listened to more than any other this year, and if winter is making it hard to deal it’s still the perfect summer jam. Most people slept on it, I think — Cypress Hill? what can they have to say in two thousand and ten? — but it’s the best Latin hip-hop single since I don’t know when. “Rap-O Clap-O,” maybe.
