YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Honestly, I’d I hadn’t known Blanca was doing this I would have insisted on doing it at some point. Shakira is so important, and the casual xenophobia even among pop nerds that excludes her from the discussion of the generation of women who transformed pop music in the late 90s and early 00s (she’s fully the peer of Beyoncé, Britney, Xtina, P!nk, J.Lo, Aaliyah, Erykah, etc.) is something we should all be ashamed of.
