Messy. Always. Almost entirely undecorated, more because I’m still thinking of the space as temporary even though I’ve been here five years (Jesus) than because I lack aesthetic ambition. The inescapable motif of the space is books. They’re everywhere, in teetering piles and fallen-over clumps and stacked two deep on undusted shelves. So surrounded, you’d think I’d read more; but the fecundity overwhelms, and I’m subject to the paralysis of choice.
I’ll probably be selling about half of them sometime in the ~near future. Ebay links and everything. Fair warning.
